Mr. Lucas is the founder and principal of Sadekya Fiduciary
Partners. He has more than 20 years of experience in assisting
high net worth clients with their financial planning needs.
Prior to establishing Sadekya, Mr. Lucas was responsible for
market and product development at ABN AMRO Trust in Latin
America. When ABN AMRO Trust was sold to Equity Trust, Mr. Lucas
became their Regional Director Product Development for Latin
America with a focus on Brazil.
Mr. Lucas maintains key affiliations with strategic global
partners including:
i) The Sovereign Group (www.sovereigngroup.com) — Mr. Lucas is a
legal representative of Sovereign in the Americas, a global
company active the field of developing offshore structures and
setting up and managing companies, trusts and other vehicles to
meet specific personal or business needs of clients including
tax planning, wealth protection, foreign property ownership and
facilitating cross-border business.
ii) The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (www.step.org)
— Mr. Lucas is a member of STEP, a unique professional body
providing members with a local, national and international
learning and business network focusing on the responsible
stewardship of assets across generations.
iii) The prestigious Gerson Lehrman Group (www.glgroup.com), an
international firm with offices in all major markets including
New York, Boston, Hong Kong, New Delhi, London, Zurich, and
Tokyo. GLG manages and sells independent expert advice and
controls an important segment of the global advisory market
covering a wide spectrum of services. Mr. Lucas acts as a
freelance consultant for GLG with a focus on Private Client &
Trust Services. He also provides advisory services to investment
